Eliana Psychology & Wellness is committed to protecting your privacy in full compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 4 of 2013).
When you interact with our website, submit an enquiry form, or undertake psychological services, personal information (such as your name, contact information, psychological history, and assessment data) is collected solely for the legitimate purposes of professional consultation, clinical record keeping, appointment scheduling, and statutory invoicing.
All client records are encrypted, maintained securely, and will never be shared with third parties without your explicit, written informed consent, unless mandated by South African law or court subpoena.
Privacy Policy & Clinical Confidentiality
Psychological consultations are strictly confidential. Under the professional guidelines of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), communications between psychologist and client are protected.
Exceptions to confidentiality are strictly limited to statutory requirements: (1) where there is a clear, imminent danger of serious physical harm to the client or another person; (2) where disclosure is legally required under the Children's Act or Older Persons Act; or (3) pursuant to a valid court order.
Terms & Conditions of Service
Appointments & Cancellations: Appointment slots are dedicated specifically to each client. We request at least 24 business hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may attract a cancellation fee.
Payment & Medical Aid: Eliana Psychology operates as a fee-for-service private practice. Clients settle invoices directly and receive comprehensive coded statements suitable for medical aid submission.
